With srt zeptoring®, we support you in improving the mobility and quality of life of your elderly patients. Especially in geriatrics, our innovative therapy helps to prevent falls and strengthen balance – for more safety and independence in everyday life.
Due to ageing processes or motor disorders, the ability to control balance decreases, which leads to a significantly increased risk of falling. The consequences of a fall from the age of 75 are often serious: fractures, hospital stays and increased morbidity and mortality. srt zeptoring® is an indispensable component of modern geriatric therapy to prevent falls or minimize their consequences.

srt zeptoring® specifically promotes flexibility and mobility, making everyday movements easier again.
The ability to react is strengthened through optimized motor sequences, making it easier to perform flowing and controlled movements.
Chronic pain and muscular tension are reduced by stochastic stimuli, which leads to noticeable relief.
Balance training strengthens the ability to react to sudden movements and promotes body stability.
srt zeptoring® stimulates bone metabolism, which strengthens bone structures and supports the formation of bone tissue.
The muscles are activated and the loss of muscle mass is prevented, while at the same time targeted muscle building is promoted.
Many movements in everyday life inevitably have to take place very quickly; these are known as reflexes. These must be of a certain magnitude in order to achieve the desired result.
For example: every time we step down from a step, reflexes are triggered in the leg muscles. If these reflexes are the right size, we can descend stairs smoothly. If the reflexes are too small, we are unable to support the weight of our body and we fall. If the reflexes are too big, we jump down the stairs uncontrollably, like a rubber ball.
In order for the reflex to achieve optimum strength, the receptor-muscle system needs to be pre-activated, the so-called preflex. The more variable the training stimuli are, the better the preflex adjusts and the corresponding reflex adapts to the respective situation.
The stochastic-randomized stimuli of srt zeptoring® ensure ideal variability in the training stimuli and thus optimize preflex-reflex control.
Another important aspect: srt zeptoring® activates the back (ischiocrural) thigh muscles. Numerous studies have shown that activating these muscle groups is crucial both for preventing knee joint injuries and for ensuring a fluid and safe gait in patients with neuronal diseases.
In order to train our muscles, they need to be stimulated by nerve cells. If these stimuli are missing, the muscles regress. A nerve cell also needs regular activation in order to survive and network with other nerve cells.
If a nerve cell is not stimulated over a longer period of time, it dies. Many patients are unable to activate the nerve cells and therefore the leg muscles at will due to illness or an accident. Without stimulation, the neuronal network responsible for activating the leg muscles degenerates.
srt zeptoring® uses a trick here: the rapid stochastic-randomized movements of the SRT Zeptor®‘s standing surfaces medical plus noise are intensive stimuli for various receptors. On the one hand, this leads to involuntary muscular activation, counteracts regression of the muscles and improves their ability to be activated voluntarily.
On the other hand, so-called neurotrophic factors are released. These substances “nourish” the nerve cells, ensure neuronal connections and protect the nerves from degeneration, which is very important in Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis and dementia, among others. Neurotrophic factors react extremely sensitively to the type of stimuli. The greatest release occurs with stochastic-randomized stimuli with a fundamental frequency in the theta frequency range, i.e. 3.5 to 7.5 Hz. The SRT Zeptor® medical plus noise provides precisely this stimulus configuration.
srt zeptoring® generates multidimensional stochastic-randomized stimuli. The transmission of these stimuli to bone structures ensures increased bone metabolism and massive adjustments in strength.
With regard to the stimulation of bone growth, stochastic resonance stimuli lead to around 4 times greater growth processes compared to low-frequency mechanical sinusoidal vibrations, e.g. from conventional vibration training devices with the same carrier frequency.
This is apparently due to the stochastic functioning of calcium and other ion channels, which in turn play a central role in the formation of bone cells (osteoblasts).
