What is stochastic resonance therapy (SRT)?
Stochastic resonance therapy uses unpredictable, randomly distributed mechanical stimuli. Two independently controlled platforms oscillate multidimensionally in constantly changing patterns, so the nervous system cannot habituate to the stimulus. The result are reflexive balancing movements that train posture, coordination and neuromuscular control.
How does SRT differ from a conventional vibration plate?
Conventional vibration devices deliver periodic, uniform oscillations that the nervous system anticipates within seconds. srt zeptoring® generates stochastically randomised stimuli with varying amplitude and direction, so the response stays involuntary and therefore effective.
For which indications is srt zeptoring® used?
The systems are used in neurology (Parkinson's, multiple sclerosis, stroke), orthopaedics (spine, joints, post-surgical rehabilitation), paediatrics, geriatrics (fall prevention, sarcopenia) as well as prevention and elite sport. 36 therapy programmes are pre-installed.
Which device versions are available?
Two versions are available: srt zeptoring® Pro for practices, therapy centres and sports medicine on roughly 1 m² of floor space, and srt zeptoring® Clinic for multi-shift clinical use.
Is the effect scientifically documented?
Yes. The study library contains more than 70 publications on stochastic resonance therapy, including randomised controlled trials on Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, back pain and fall prevention. Every paper is listed with abstract and PDF.
Where is srt zeptoring® manufactured and how fast is delivery?
Development and manufacturing take place entirely in Germany. The devices are maintenance-free; delivery usually takes five working days.
